Use your gift card for any of our available rentals for a future visit to IOP with your friends or family. We are the premier beach equipment rental company on the Isle of Palms. We bring our customers the luxury of easy, simple rentals that are set up for you and ready when you arrive. So the only thing you have to do is sit back and enjoy the ocean breeze.
Beach Chairs and Umbrellas
Starting at just $23 per set per day, you’ll experience a relaxed, refreshing visit to our beautiful beach here on IOP. These affordable beach chair and umbrella rentals help you sit comfortably on the soft sand while soaking up the summer sun. With the shade cast by our large umbrellas, you’ll be able to enjoy South Carolina summers for longer periods of time! When you arrive, your beach chairs and umbrellas will be set up for you already on the beach at your nearest access with a “reserved” name tag on the chairs. For orders placed the day before you arrive, beach chairs and umbrellas will be ready for you by 9:30 am. We also offer same-day rentals if you’re planning a last-minute trip. We will make our rounds to pick up all of the rented equipment at 5:30 pm each day. Rental prices are based on the duration of your rental, so the longer you rent, the cheaper your daily rental cost is!

Cruise in style with our weekly bike rentals! We offer a variety of sizes for beach cruisers that are fun for the whole family. Check out the available sizes & family-friendly accessories here.
Surfboards, Paddleboards, & Body Boards
Isle of Palms Beach Chair Co. also offers a variety of board rentals to bring a splash of fun to your beach vacation. For surfboards, we offer both a 7 and 9-foot weekly rental. For paddleboard rentals, you’ll receive an 11-foot SUP with a leash and paddle, along with a USCG-approved type 3 personal flotation device. These rentals also come with free delivery to IOP, Wild Dunes, and Sullivan’s Island. We also offer bodyboard rentals, although you have to come by our store between 10 am-4 pm to pick up your rental. These 37-inch bodyboards include a leash. The suggested weight limit is 125 lbs, making these an excellent board for kids who are excellent at swimming and bodysurfing.
Beach Wheelchairs & More
If you’re looking for accessible options for beach access, we also offer beach wheelchairs for rent! These custom PVC-constructed chairs have water-resistant cushions and special Wheeleez to make rolling on the sand a breeze.
We also offer a DIY beach package that includes backpack chairs and one 6.5′ canvas umbrella with a sand screw. These packages are available for a weekly rental and can be picked up from our Beach Shop.
In addition, our heavy-duty beach cart is a great way to move even the heaviest of beach gear. The cart also folds conveniently for easy transport.
