The Basics of Umbrella And Chair Rentals
How do I rent these items?
Reserving umbrella and chair rentals is simple. Go to the Beach Chair & Umbrellas rentals page on our website and click reserve. You can see a calendar that lets you select the exact day or days you want to do it. If a day on the calendar is red, we are sold out of chairs and umbrellas. Next, you provide a number for how many chairs and umbrellas you would like and then choose the dates.
Once you have completed those steps, we provide a price for you right then and there. Any adjustments you wish to make can still happen at this point in the process. Then, you add the quantity to your cart and check out! It is that easy to have umbrella and chair rentals in no time.
The rentals are on a tiered pricing level depending on the number of days you reserve. For example, the day-to-day pricing of the umbrella and chair rentals does go down as you prolong the duration of your reservation.
When are the chairs and umbrellas placed at the beach?
The time that your chairs and umbrellas are placed at your beach location depends on when you place the order. If you place the order before 7 p.m. the night before your requested service, you can expect your rentals set up by 10 a.m. If you place the order between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. for the day of service, you can expect them to be set up by 11 a.m.
When the order is placed on the same day as the requested service between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m., you can expect them to be set up between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. If the order is placed after 10 a.m. on the same day, you can expect them within 1 to 2 hours after that.
How do I know which ones are for me?
We come to set up your umbrella and chair rentals at your nearest beach access point on Isle of Palms or Wild Dunes. After they are set up, a “Reserved” name tag is left on the rentals. You can see your name and know that the specific chairs are your rentals.
When are they picked up?
Your rentals are picked up after 5:30 p.m. each day of your reservation.
What if the weather impacts our beach day?
We do not accept cancellations or refunds during the day when there is minor inclement weather. Weather-based refunds are only accepted when a tropical weather system also requires government-issued beach evacuation. This also applies when our team cannot set up the rentals due to the weather.
