Make your next beach day the best day! If it’s your first time, here’s how to do it right:
Arrive early
Parking fills up quickly, especially in peak season. Start the day with less stress and get there on the early side.
Pack light
Dragging gear across sand isn’t fun. Renting Beach chairs and umbrellas can save you time and energy.
Know the rules
- Follow beach access points
- Keep the beach clean. Glass, plastic bags, and plastic straws are prohibited.
- Bringing your pets? Off leash hours April 1st – September 15th are 5:00am-9:00am. Dogs must be on a leash at all other times.
Stay hydrated
The ocean breeze can be deceiving. It’s easy to get dehydrated fast. Rent a from IOP Beach Chair cooler with ice and 6 waters from us as well!
Where to eat
Isle of Palms is filled with delicious restaurants at Front Beach like Coconut Joe’s and the Dinghy, or if you’re staying in Wild Dunes you should check out the Grand Pavilion Cafe and Bar or the Oyster Catcher Bar and Restaurant.
